This is the third post of a series “London Design Week: Trends and Directions for 2014″ inspired byPantoneView’s analysis. In this series I’ll be discussing the key color trends from the influential London Design Week that took place this year.

The pink color family is the hottest color family in fashion for A/W 14. From Chloe to Marks & Spencer, it seems every level of the market is embracing this fresh new color trend.

The key to making pink work is to keep the design simple and modern. This new wave of pink is not about vintage or shabby chic; it is pared back and slick.Farrow & Ball has just released a new group of color: among them is Nancy’s Blushes, a warm plaster pink that is more modern than Farrow & Ball’s current offering. Pink is a growing trend for furnishings: again, this color sits beautifully with deep grays and charcoals, making it a modern color choice.
