A note-worthy bright crayon color movement was noticed at Milan last year at their International Home Show, MACEF.
Crayon brights continue to take us to a happy place in home and housewares in Milan. Collections are created in pre-assorted combinations, or colors meet on unifying objects such as dinnerware stripes or other repeating patterns on textiles. Whether the palette will seem a bit seasonal to retailers is debatable, but its appeal is undeniable in saturations and combinations bent on a light-hearted mood and a youthful sensibility. Vibrant orchid is a frequent feature, but orangey coral pinks also play a role alongside sunny yellows and deep sky blue.
I need to show this to my wife who thinks I am a multi-colored freak 😀
I have always advocated the use of such fantastic range of color for housewares. I think it looks trendy, very friendly. very very bright and super energetic. Thanks for sharing a similar thought, great work 🙂
